How to do a partial restore of Windows XP Registry?

Question by Doug W: How to do a partial restore of Windows XP Registry? Recently discovered that all of my “Change/Remove” buttons were wacked. Already have learned the registry location of these keys. I do not have a Win XP “Restore Point” available but do have an Acronis backup available. I have already confirmed that the missing keys are available in my backup reg file “C:\WINDOWS\system32\ config \software.” From this file, I ONLY want to restore the keys under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall”. Is there a utility that will allow this?
