Registery File Failure in Windows XP?

by AVG Technologies Question by akhaiyan: Registery File Failure in Windows XP? After I turn on the computer, I get a blue screen saying “STOP: c000218 {Registry File Failure} The registry cannot load the hive (file): \systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE And it does a physical memory dump. I can’t get into Windows at all, even through safe mode, or anything. And I don’t have a recovery or xp boot cd or anything like that. What can I do? Is there somewhere I can burn a boot cd?
