Question by Nikki: I deleted an important registry key in Windows XP Home…help!!!!? I ran a system scan in Ad-Aware and decided to try to manually delete all the viruses and corrupted files in my computer (stupid of me, I know), but there were tons of Trojan viruses and I panicked. Question by Answers: System restore won’t work and how to remove and infected registry key? I have Windows XP, Home edition SP3. I have already removed the files that were infected but there is an infected registry key. I have no way to locate it, all i know that it is under Microsoft in Current users and local machine.
