XP local profile corrupted…?

Question by roar: XP local profile corrupted…? My laptop seems to be loading from the recovery drive (drive D) rather than the local disk (Drive C). i have looked in the registry to change the boot sequence but it just says I”internal HDD’ It cant load my user account properly and it shows a message saying it ant locate the local profile and that it may be corrupted. Question by mnvikes: Is there a way to copy XP user profiles? One got screwed up by a virus? I had a worm or virus a few weeks ago which norton says made 800+ registry changes.
